Clone 15 Chardonnay from the vineyard of Kumeu locals Tim and Angela Coddington. The Kumeu River Coddington 2020 has to be the most Meursault of any Chardonnay I have tasted in NZ. The aromas and palate structure are easily confused for a top Premier Cru from Meursault. This wine takes New Zealand Chardonnay to a whole new level and needs to be applauded.

Rounded and rich on the entry, with a delicious kiss of French oak and mineral focus on the middle, finishing long, creamy, and biscuity with a fresh acid lift.
