Henschke ‘Hill of Roses’ Shiraz 2016 3x75cl

‘Hill of Roses’ Shiraz 2016, a sibling wine to ‘Hill of Grace’, is produced in small quantities using grapes from Post Office Block 3 within the Hill of Grace vineyard. Although nearly 30 years old, these dry-grown, low-yielding vines are not considered mature enough for ‘Hill of Grace’. However, the quality and unique expression of the fruit more than justifies a separate release.

The name ‘Hill of Roses’ is a tribute to Johann Gottlieb Rosenweig, an early German Lutheran settler who previously owned this section of land. The name Rosenweig translates as ‘rose twig’.
